Kazema successfully delivered and installed a fully accessible prefabricated toilet unit at Khalifa Park, Abu Dhabi. Designed for differently-abled users, this unit ensures comfort, safety, and compliance with accessibility standards.
Built with a strong steel structure, insulated walls, and modern interior finishes, the unit offers durability in harsh UAE weather conditions. It includes integrated water and waste tanks, making it ideal for public parks and locations without direct plumbing connections. The design focuses on ease of use, hygiene, and long-term performance, making it a reliable sanitation solution for high-traffic outdoor environments.

Unit Size:
6.0m (L) × 2.4m (W) × 3.0m (H)
Base Frame:
Heavy-duty steel chassis constructed with full perimeter beams, central runner, and cross members. All steel surfaces are wire brushed and coated with primer for corrosion resistance.
Walls:
External walls made of 6mm fire-rated cement board with weatherproof paint finish. Internal walls feature decorative marble-finish panels with white glazing. Insulated with 50mm rock wool (30kg/m³ density).
Roof:
50mm fire-rated PIR sandwich panels with GI polyester-coated sheets. Interior finished with glossy decorative panels (WPC/HPL).
False Ceiling:
12mm gypsum board finished with high-quality white emulsion.
Accessible Toilet Features:
Designed for male and female differently-abled users with 1500mm wheelchair turning radius. Includes European WC, foldable grab bars, sensor tap, accessible washbasin, mirror, tissue holder, and properly positioned fixtures as per standards.
Flooring:
18mm cement board base with parquet finish and integrated drainage system.
Electrical:
LED lights, exhaust fan, 32 Amp power inlet, concealed wiring, fire alarm system, and 1.5 Ton split AC units in each cabin.
Plumbing:
¾” PPR water lines, 4” waste pipes, and 1.5” grey water pipes for efficient flow management.
Doors:
Heavy-duty aluminum doors installed for each cabin.
Ramp:
Custom ramp provided for easy wheelchair access based on unit height.
Tanks:
500-gallon water tank with automatic pressure pump and 1400-gallon waste tank with gate valve and sewage outlet, mounted on a steel support frame.
